2018 Seattle Dual bracket and team info links
The Seattle "Dual" Major will start on Thursday afternoon at 11 AM Pacific time with all 26 teams playing as many as 3 games on Thursday. The first tournament continues all day Friday with the championship game set for 3:30 PM. The first Dual will use the Dudley Classic M ball on all 5 fields which will have 300 foot fence distances. The second dual tournament actually starts while the first one is finishing on Friday and continues all day on Saturday with the championship set for Sunday at 11 AM. In the second dual there will be 16 teams and all of the winner's bracket games and a few games at the end of the loser's bracket will be played on the baseball field with its 327-367-362-360-331 fence distance and use the Dudley Stadium ZN ball with unlimited home runs. A majority of the loser's bracket games will be played on field #3 with unlimited home runs and the Dudley Classic M ball.
There is also a nice 8 team Women's Dual Major featuring 3 'AA' teams, 4 'A' teams, and a 'B' team.
All games should be live on USSSALive.com/ConferenceUSSSA once I get there Thursday around noon to setup the cameras. Look for updates in the chat room.

Gate Fee: $5.00 each day 13 and older – Wristband must be worn at all times.
Outside Alcohol: The outer fields will be patrolled by Kent Police, there is no outside alcohol allowed within the park. We do have a refreshment truck that will be within fields 3, 4, 5.
RV PARKING ONLY: CAMPERS or RV's ONLY – This is located in the same place as last year, near fields 3, 4, 5 – NO OTHER VEHICLES ALLOWED. (You must have your own power source). ALL other vehicles except for USSSA or Park Staff are being asked to park by Fields 1 & 2 or by the Ice Rink. There is also plenty of parking across the street by Shari's. Please do not park in any of marked parking stalls by the RV/Trailer parking. All RV’s/Campers located anywhere else will be required to pack up each night.
Bat Testing: Please have your bats ready to be tested 1 hour prior to your first game. No bats will be tested tested within 30 minutes of your start time – Exception would be a player arriving later and the coach has documented that with the bat testing station.
Mens Dual I: All Games Will Follow Standard Conference Rules
Mens Dual II: This event is split, but teams will play with the same Home Run Rule (Unlimited) and 80' bases on ALL fields.
Conference Ball Rule: Anyone caught taking a ball from the event will be ejected from the tournament. If your team is already out of the event or you are just a fan, you will face further penalty.

The team list includes a total of 26 teams and 11 Nationwide Conference USSSA teams in attendance with 3 major, 1 AA, 4 A, 3 B and 15 local teams. Smash It/Thunder/Backman/TDB/Miken is the favorite after it's midseason roster moves and the #1 overall seed based on Conference points. "The Derby Dual" Major I Predictions: The "Final Four" starts at 8:00 pm on Thursday with Smash It versus Newbreed followed by Dan Smith versus Resmondo. The winners advance to the undefeated game at 12:30 pm on Friday. Can an A team pull off an upset in the loser's bracket?

"The Derby Dual" Major II Predictions: The second tournament consists of the top 16 teams that are B classification or higher. The "Final Four match ups should be the same as the first dual with Resmondo versus Dan Smith at 5:00 pm and Smash It versus Newbreed at 6:30 pm. I predict Resmondo's roster pick up of LC Watson could help out in the grueling dual event and upset Smash It in the second dual.
