How many MVP”s does that make for Andy P? He is close to 60yrs old now, (LOL). But he obviously still a game changer. I am pretty sure until he moves on to the next phase in his life no matter what team he pitches for will always be at the top. And I am not taking away from any other pitcher in the conference. There are some great pitchers that can flat out play but Andy makes the difference in almost every game he plays.
Congrats to everyone that made it this year and good luck to all at the major.

  2. Rj#75 says:

How does the guy from Bay Area win the batting title and not make 1st team all conference?

    • Doesn't Matter says:

Same thing with Flip Washington had a better year than ALL of the OF’s and all of the catchers except for Harvey these politics are fxukin ridiculous for the black and brown… Perfect example so DD3 and LuLu are the same defensively?? Why are they sharing LuLu’s award??? Can’t leave the good ole boys out huh???

  3. Brad says:

How does Steele Lewis not make 1st or 2nd team? Because he’s Canadian?! Complete politics it seems, which is highly unfortunate.

    • DW says:

As they announced at the beginning of the awards banquet you have to be in the top 16 to get an award.

Plus even if he was with OA all year, who would you put him ahead of for the award? Washington who batted .828 or Messer who was high 700’s and played SS?

Steele had an all tournament year though for sure. Just the way the awards work is the way they have always worked.

  4. 2 X WORLD CHAMPION says:

It’s all politics..the favorites get the awards n the recognition… there is alot of great n talented players.. its slow pitch softball for God’s sake…many athletic talented n good PLAYERS.. especially all the catchers..1 USSSA conference team dominated most EVERY TEAM n WON EVERY Major.. their TEAM is stacked..it’s very VERY HARD n difficult to BAT .700+..800..900 for an entire season…Congrats to a well deserved good guy n PLAYER Micheal Ortiz..BillvPinkham should of at least made 2nd TEAM ALL CONFERANCE..

  5. Dameon Smith says:

Brambilla is on 1st and 2nd team list.

  6. 2 X WORLD CHAMPION says:

Well deserving of course..Luis Reyna..Andrew Collins..n Steve Edwards n many OTHERS…Mike Umshied…No Brandon Dillon…Other qualified players deserving other than Adam Rockoff… Congrats Jason Branch..Of course a GREAT guy Ryan Harvey….

  7. TimmyT says:

Best Of in the league is Brian Logan!!!

  8. JB#2 says:

No Middle Infielders on the 2nd team?

  9. BayAreaLegend35 says:

Congrats to all the winners that received awards. I’m a little confused how my guy Bradley Carlson did something pretty impressive as a 1st year guy in the conference, yet didn’t get rookie of the year award? Not taking anything away from the Jordan S. that kid is a stud and absolutely kills it I just have to go battle for my guy that I feel got snub of first team conference and rookie of the year. I am new to the conference only being my second year in just trying to grasp how everything works when it comes to these awards.
    Thanks

  10. T-ROX says:

Kind of shocked not seeing Bazat, Wolfe, Haglund, Mooch, Pinkman, Stovall, or Driskall (he had a good all around year) on either team. I don’t see how Clark makes 1st team after the year he’s had on the mound, I know he hits it but he’s struggled. Not a personal attack on him either, because I like all the Easton guys. We all have a bad year. But Pinkman had a really good year again and can’t even get on the 2nd team. Umsheid 2nd team at best.

  11. 2 X WORLD CHAMPION says:

Its ALL politics….a Real PLAYER DOESN’T NEED to make a list..
Bill Pink MVP Pinkham is ALL WORLD in any ANY TEAM he PLAYS for.n makes EVERY TEAM BETTER…. Michael Ortiz n OTHERS r just class acts b ballad… THEY BRING IT EVERY TIME….I played 28 years and I don’t need Validation…. I’m younger n 10 X BETTER THAN 15 to 20 of these guys listed hands down… I’LL PLAY ANY position except maybe pitcher…bat .750 ALL DAY ALL season…. PLAY a 5 man who cares…Out of ALL THE conference TEAMS…6 or more GOOD QUALITY TEAMS… START giving SMASH IT some competition…Resmondo….Dan Smith… New Breed… Astros… etc..
