The 38th Annual Busch Classic in Little Rock, Arkansas is getting ready to begin!  The tournament features 29 teams including 6 from the Nationwide Conference USSSA.  And all 29 teams are 'C' or above with Nightmare/Miken being the highest classed team at 'AA' and Steel Sports/PowerhouseSportz/Miken being the hot team after their tournament win in Oklahoma last week.  The tournament is going to be hot with a chance of thunderstorms and the winner will get a coveted 165 + (6 x 3) = 183 points which could definitely play in to one of these teams obtaining a berth into the USSSA Major World Series.  There are some good 'B' teams that could be in the mix as well, led by Smash It Sports/RAC/Worth and 'C' teams like Brians Custom Detailing.  J&R Logistics and Olmito Heat also could pull some upsets.  Really each game here is a 50/50 or 60/40 type game with the favorites being slightly higher.

A few of the umpires are helping put up the livestream so please be patient as it is not in their normal responsibilities to do this and we appreciate their help.  They have 3 ipad cameras, I believe 2 will be on the Major and one on the women's Major.

Shea Nations Picks

This weekend the 38th Annual Busch Softball Classic major will take place in Little Rock, AR. While only 6 Nationwide Conference USSSA teams will be in attendance with 1 AA, 4 A and 19 local teams looking to win.  The favorite and #1 overall seed Nightmare/Miken will be  looking for the win with no major teams present.  The other teams looking to upset the favorite are: All out/Klutch/Worth; Seminoles/TPS/NACSF; Steel Sports/Powerhousesportz/Miken trying to win their second tournament in a row, and local Nationwide Conference USSSA team Fence Brokers Inc/Worth.

Shea's Predictions:  The final 4 undefeated should be: Seminoles versus Steel Sports rematch from the Sooner major and Nightmatre versus All out.  I predict Nightmare to beat All Out and Steel Sports in the undefeated game.  Seminoles should fight their way back through the loser bracket to face Steel for the 4th time in 2 weeks.

My sleeper pick this week is the #1 C team in the State of Texas, Brian's Custom Detailing.  It will be exciting tournament to watch in anticipation of which teams will get upset.

Shea Nations Final Picks are:
1st Nightmare/Miken
2nd Steel Sports/Powerhousesportz/Miken
3rd Seminoles/TPS/NACSF
4th All Out/Klutch/Worth
Tied 5th Fence Brokers Inc/Worth
Tied 5th Insidious

Oldscout pollers went with Steel Sports to win
