Added 150 action photos to album —> Resmondo Specialty Tank Worth wins their 11th Smoky Mountain Classic in DOMINATING fashion!

1st Place – Resmondo Specialty Tank Worth

Resmondo Specialty Tank Worth rolled through all of their 6 opponents by the run rule and quickly erased all of the talk of Backman being the favorite on the baseball fields with back to back 47-32 and 26-10 wins over their new rival.  Resmondo wins their 11th Smoky Mountain Classic and move to within 130 points of #1 Backman in the Nationwide Conference USSSA standings.  Resmondo dominated in every phase of the game – pitching, defense (only 8 runs allowed in their first two games and 10 runs allowed in the championship), power, and simply a will to win.  Backman came from behind in almost all of their games to finish 2nd including 12 runs in the bottom of the 7th to beat Smash It Sports in the semi finals of the winner's bracket Saturday night and 12 runs in the top of the 7th on 7 homers to beat Scene in the loser's bracket championship game Sunday morning.  The Scene/Albicocco finished 3rd and could easily have finished 2nd as they opened the door defensively for Backman to beat them in the 7th in the loser's final after 20 run ruling Smash It Sports on Saturday night to make it to Sunday where they got a revenge win over TG/Red's Astros 33-11 whom had beaten them in the winner's bracket Saturday.  TG/Red's Astros finished 4th with quality wins over Precision, Scene, and Team Combat.
