Backman/Shoppe/Louisville Slugger continues to roll as they win the Columbus Major!

Backman/Shoppe/Louisville Slugger went 6-1 and knocked off Resmondo Specialty Tank Worth 36-35 in the winner's bracket championship Saturday night and the Championship 28-10 after Resmondo forced the "if" necessary game with a 35-33 victory at noon on Sunday.  Smash It Sports was 3rd and Vivid was a surprising 4th in the 35 team Major at the beautiful Lou Berliner Park in Columbus, Ohio!  Backman wins their 3rd Major tournament of the season and extend their commanding lead in the Nationwide Conference USSSA points standings to 130 points over 2nd place Smash It Sports and 202 points over 3rd place The Scene.  Resmondo climbed 3 spots to 15th with their 2nd place finish.
