Game #20 Quarterfinal Recap

An upset minded Compound Athletics team took to the field in game #20 against Team Combat.  Compound separated from Combat in the top of the 2nd when Kyle Pearson hit a 3 run homer in a 13 run inning!  In the middle innings Compound CF Ben Dunn and Combat CF Brian Zirkle traded great catches against the fence but Compound led by 15 runs in the bottom of the 5th when Combats Brian Lipman hit a clutch 2 run homer to keep the game from being a run rule.  Combat also scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 7th to make the final score look closer than it actually was as Compound upset them 29-24.  Compounds Lyf Nimmo hit 2 homers and Kyle Pearson hit 4!
