Game #1 Recap

The 2015 Major World Series is underway as 4 The Fallen pitches to Pure Romance Wednesday morning

4 The Fallen/JTF/Hawaii who earned their berth to the Major by winning the USSSA Military Worlds came out guns blazing with 5 runs in the top of the first inning and led 5-3 after 1 inning. The Pure Romance (PRI) offense sputtered in the early going and in the top of the 6th inning 4 The Fallen got a 2 run double from Clayton Shaw and another 2 run homer out of shortstop Chuck Garmon to take a commanding 16-7 lead. PRI shortstop Pat Foster made a nice play to hold the lead to 9. In the bottom of the 6th PRI crawled back into the game with 6 unearned runs led by big Jon Jamisons 3 run homer and they trailed 17-13. In the top of the 7th though 4 The Fallen got a 3 run homer from Jesse Ayres which led to 9 runs and 4 The Fallen won the first ever Major World Series game they played in 26-15 to advance into the bracket to play Smash It Sports later in the evening Wednesday!
