Major World Series countdown – #15 BuziniSports.com/BWW/Worth
Buzini held on to the #15 seed for the World Series and they will play #2 Laservision in their first game. Buzini is 6-4 on the baseball sized fields this year and averaged 18.7 runs per game while giving up 17.5 runs per game on the big fields. Most recently they lost to Taylormade 14-5 at the Conference Championships but did beat Nordkap at the Hall of Fame Classic and gave Resmondo all they could handle in the season opener on the stadium field.
Buzini is led by their pitcher Donald Plaisance who's old school approach on the mound is entertaining and keeps the team focused. They also have center fielder Justin Stuart who anchors the outfield and Major list player Kelly Hartman who plays catcher and puts up the big numbers. When their lead off man Kyle Wilks is available the team is much better off and the offense clicks on all cylinders.
Outlook: Buzini has a tough road having to play Laservision in their first appearance in the World Series. But drawing off of the past experiences playing Resmondo and Nordkap at the HOF tournament to start the season, this team knows they can hang for 7 innings. With Laservision coming off back to back games of scoring just 7 runs per game at the Conference championships, this matchup could be interesting for more than a few innings. Buzini will have to make all of the ground ball plays, and leave the home run hitting to the home run hitters, and adjust to the wind conditions better and faster than Laservision. Remember Laservision "put all their eggs in the Major World basket" so Buzini will have to weather at least one big inning from Laservision and come up with some big plays. One other note, the middle infield for Buzini for one game, at times, can be as good as any in the game.
