Looks like a good pre-season tournament going on in Dallas!

North vs South Tournament Link

The North vs. South Upper Bracket was played at Big League Dreams in Mansfield (which is just south of Ft. Worth – about a 4 hour drive from Houston).

Four Conference USSSA teams were entered:

1st Gold's Gym – Perry Hensley's new team

2nd – Clutch/SaveSecond.com – Played Conference half a season last year as SaveSecond.com before folding.

5th – Wood Law/Mizuno – Only 4 HR's allowed hurt this perennial Top 10 National team.

13th – Texas Miken – Ray Cowart's team out of Houston.

A couple other teams have the talent to play Conference, but not the dough. Notably …

3rd – Zamora's/TPS – Could be best team in Texas. Have a full ride from Louisville Slugger, but not much else.

9th – Not Yet (Texas Regulators) – Talked about joining Conference, but haven't yet (hence, team name). Had LC Watson and Wade Casey for the weekend.
