Colorado Major Tournament Preview

27th Annual Rocky Mountain Shootout NIT

7/23/2011

36 Teams

A quick preview of the Colorado Major.  The fields there I believe are set at 325 feet and the ball fly's in the light air so outfielders get a workout.

I don't know much about the local teams at all.  They have a nice turnout and a top notch facility to play at from what I hear.  Hopefully someday I get out to cover this tournament.  The main problem is that it always falls on my son's birthday and my daughters have a season ending fast pitch tournament.

In the top half I'll take Sonny's over Demarini.   In the bottom half lets go with Famous over Texas Miken.

My final 6
1) Sonny's
2) Famous  (about an even pick with Sonny's to win)
3) Texas Miken
4) Demarini
Tied for 5th) Peak
Tied for 5th) EAS
